Wed. April 6: How To Get Your Message Across — On Camera!

Being comfortable on camera is about more than looking good. But what’s the best way to get your message across when you’re on video being interviewed or making a presentation? Join us in person on April 6, when Erica Schweitzer presents an array of video tips — from recapping the basics about looking your best to shaping your content and making sure your message is heard. With interview and presentation scenarios we can all watch and learn from, this will be a lively and eminently useful program. 

Erica Schweitzer is a local multimedia professional who is passionate about visual communication, specifically the art of storytelling, documentary filmmaking, and  strategic multimedia design. Graduating from UCSB with a BA in Film and Media studies, her experience has spanned all levels of video production. Formerly a local nonprofit video producer, she currently is pursuing a career in media strategy through her work for the SmithGeiger Group. Additionally she produces and leads the local community production The Resource, where she and a group of passionate women cover community issues in a multimedia format.
