A sizzle reel is a brief video that brings attention to something you want to promote–your work, an event, or a public relations campaign. Thanks to today’s technology, you don’t have to be a media pro to create this highly effective form of communication. At the AWC-SB meeting on November 4, Board member Erica Schweitzer will outline the essential ingredients for a memorable sizzle video. She’ll showcase some exceptional sizzle reels. And she’ll introduce you to her favorite free and low-cost tools.

Erica Schweitzer is a local media producer who is passionate about visual communication, specifically the art of storytelling, documentary filmmaking, and creating purpose-driven media. Through her coursework at UCSB, Erica fell in love with the Santa Barbara community and since has worked as a producer for local access station TV Santa Barbara.
